Elizabeth S. Tanaka was born and raised in New York. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Science and Services at the University of Rhode Island. Before law school, she spent two years studying Forensic Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Attorney Tanaka earned her Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in Criminal Law and Advocacy. Attorney Tanaka was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2008 and the New York and Hawaii Bars in 2010. Before joining Howard, Kohn, Sprague & FitzGerald, Attorney Tanaka clerked for Justice McLachlan and Judge Alvord at the Connecticut Appellate Court.
