    • Attorney Sullivan recently published an article entitled "Can You Recover Exemplary (Double) Damages under FLSA and CMWA?" in the Connecticut Bar Association's Employment Law Quarterly. 
    • In February 2010, Connecticut Magazine listed Jack Papa, Jack Steigelfest, and Jamie Sullivan as Super Lawyers* and Keith Rudzik and Greg Krieger as Rising Stars**  in the area of civil litigation defense.  "Super Lawyers" by Connecticut Magazine for 2010.

    • In February 2010, Jack Steigelfest and James F. Sullivan were recently invited to become a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America (“LCA”). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society that includes for Fellowship less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.  Inclusion is by invitation only and fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels and ethical reputation.
    • On November 16, 2009, Attorneys James Sullivan and Elizabeth Tanaka published an article in the Connecticut Law Tribune on defending shareholder derivative suits entitled "Determining Who Has the Claim?"
    • On November 6, 2009, Attorney Sullivan gave a presentation on "How to Respond to Grievance" in a seminar on Legal Ethics and Law Office Management, a seminar that was put on with several attorneys from the Chief Disciplinary Office and the Statewide Bar Counsel.
    • On November 5, 2009, Attorney Moher received a defendant's verdict in Superior Court in a case arising out of a rear end automobile accident.  Jury did not find the plaintiff proved causal connection between accident  and claimed injuries.
    • On October 26, 2009, Attorney Sullivan successfully defended a Fair Debt Collection Practices action against a large debt collector in federal court where, after trial, judgment entered for the defendant.
    • On October 20, 2009, associate John Miller secured a defendant’s verdict in a case arising out of an alleged rear end collision.  The jury deliberated for approximately 80 minutes before returning a verdict in favor of the defendant.
    • In October 2009, the New England Super Lawyers Magazine listed John Stephen Papa, Jack Steigelfest, and Jamie Sullivan as super lawyers in the area of civil litigation.
    • In April, 2009, Attorney Barber secured a defendant's verdict for a motor vehicle operator who was sued for striking a pedestrian in a cross-walk.
    • On January 1, 2009, Attorney Barber was elected as the firm's managing partner.
