John R. FitzGerald was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1953. He has practiced in all of the State Courts and the Federal District Court for the State of Connecticut and is also admitted before the Second Circuit Court of New York. John was educated at the University of Connecticut B.A. 1951; University of Connecticut Law School, J.D. high honors, 1953.
John was an Adjunct Professor Law, Connecticut University Law School, 1953 1991, Prosecuting Attorney for the Town of Manchester, 1955 59. He is co author of A Connecticut Law of Torts,@ 3rd Edition (1991) A Connecticut Trial Practice,@ (1987).
John is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association (President 1979 80); Manchester Bar Association (President 1972 73); Connecticut and American Bar Associations, American Judicature Society, and the Defense Research Institute, Inc.
